Cat was an amazing instructor! This was my first ever dance class which was terrifying as a college junior, but Cat made us all feel comfortable. She provided helpful comments and tips that allowed us to improve our skills without feeling self-conscious. I liked how we learned our across-the-floor skills and then learned the dance that incorporated these skills into it. The environment Cat created made me excited to go to class, and I think my classmates would agree. She is kind, but she is not a pushover - we got things done in this class while having fun.”

Her ability to create content that reflects the individual needs of the students is highly appreciated. She is genuinely motivated by her love of teaching and dance, and it shows in her classes. I love taking class from her and I feel like I have had major growth in my skill over the past semester.”

“Cat Kamrath has a strong positive teaching influence. She genuinely cares that her students are learning, engaged, and interested in the material she is presenting in class. She goes above and beyond to check on the well being of all her students in the classroom. Cat provides good feedback on assessments that are clear, constructive, and easy to understand.”

The clarity within your explanations of new concepts, allowing time for cross connections to be made is wonderful. A unique teaching gift to be greatly valued.

It is truly an honor to learn from Cat Kamrath. Cat’s passion, humor, and joy are contagious, and her classes facilitate growth in a warm environment. She has such respect for technique, the body, and artistry, which is evident in not only her work and choreography, but also in her teaching approach. My collegiate dance career has been nothing but enjoyable and it is an understatement to say that Cat contributed to this.

“This instructor did a really good job at interacting with the students and answering questions when they were asked. I feel like the material in this course progressively got more challenging in a way that pushed the students to do their best while giving them a chance to explore how their bodies move and their limits. I felt like I was given constructive feedback that helped me improve my skills throughout this course.”
